No If

 No “If”

There’s no “if” in my dictionary.

The only Eve I know

is the one who doubted-

and trusted the devil.

“What if…”

He hath said.

I have heard.

Now I write.

Chilling at home,

praying, praising the Lord,

when it came again-

a whisper in the quiet.

I paused,

acknowledged His voice,

and chose to share.

“There is always a way out.

There is no ‘what if.’”

I looked into the mirror-

saw myself,

and wondered…

What if there were no mirrors?

Would we go years

without seeing who we are?

I stepped outside,

gazed into the water-

and there I was again.

Then I understood:

there is no “what if” in our lives,

only a way out.

So clear your doubts.

Stop binding yourself with conditions.

Believe-

there is always a way out.
