I don’t just write - I receive. Most of my inspirations come in moments when I draw close to God. In times of consecration, when everything else is quiet, that’s when the words come. Not forced, not planned - just given. As Easter approached, I felt a nudge within me. “Prepare something.” It wasn’t just about writing. It felt like an assignment. So I obeyed. I took time, I stayed in His presence, and I put together a special piece - something intentional for the season. The first time I tried to present it at our annual youth program at the IYC campground, I missed the opportunity. The auditions had already ended. It was disappointing… but I let it go.
